what buick special racecar that raced from 1959-1974 was driven by the likes of Carroll Shelby , Dan Gurney, Bob Bondurant, Billy Krause, Bobby Drake, and Paul O'Shea.
When Porsche introduced the the 956 for Group C racing, they also submited it for IMSA approval. IMSA required two changes, which led to the creation of the 962. Name one of those changes
Yep, IMSA wanted the driver's feet behind the front axle centerline. They also had to change from a watercooled engine back to aircooled.
Your up
hmm.. easy one who is the only son of a formula 1 championship winning racer to also win a championship?
Graham Hill's son Damon (easy one.)
For what team was Sebastien Bourdais originally scheduled to get his F1 premier after winning the F3000 championship in 2002, and why did he not get to start for the team?
Not to ruin the party, but weren't most of the early Lotus Sevens (there wasn't really a 'standard' engine) powered by the 1172cc side-valve Ford? AFAIK, the Kent powered most of the Series 2 cars, but the early cars were more likely to have the Popular/Anglia sidevalve Ford, with a few exceptions fitted with Coventry Climaxes, or perhpas Morris/Austin A-series or other small fours.
Upon researching the matter, it would seem you're absolutely correct ae86andkp61!
Floor is now yours.
yeah i was looking for a side-valve ford, but i didn't want to be too nit-picky, tho you are of course correct ae86andkp61.
