I'll be praying for your Dad's surgery. My parents had a close friend who had brain surgery about 5 years ago and is doing really well now.

Thanks.

I appreciate it and all the stories of everyone that is doing well. A good boring anecdote is best kind for this type of situation.
My dad wad a bit groggy yet but he seemed like himself, cracking jokes and in a good mood. Waiting on pathology and a read of the CAT scan they performed afterwards. The doctor said the tumor didnt quite look like meningioma. So more of the same, hurry up and wait.
I don't have any brain surgery stories (Mrs. Hungary says there's agood reason for that) but I'm wishin you and your dad the best
My dad's surgery went very well. He's talking/walking/everything quite normally, but. The tumor was melanoma. My dad had melanoma on his ear about 10 years ago and had it removed and they also poked around at this lymph nodes. The cancer is already on his liver, spleen, and a lung. The first real oncology doctor visit is this morning.
Suddenly hurry up and wait doesn't seem appropriate.
Damn. I have two aunts fighting that fight right now so I know how these things can affect a family. We're wishing you guys the best.

Spleen can be 86'ed, hopefully they can bicect the liver and focus on the lungs regarding radiation and chemo, with treatment targeted elsewhere of the just making sure we got it all variety. If he's up for it, have him reach out to me as I was effected in all 3 of those locations in addition to about 8 more. He can get through this.
