Nutz. Got a gig sitting in with a band Sat. Last minute.
Eh, why not. SWMBO works tonight, and Chemo Kid (no bedtime when it's not a school night--longer he sleeps in the morning, the better she sleeps!) loves his Armor Games. Motegi Full, right?
motegi was fun. SO-this morningmi took off the street exhaust off the suzuki and the car is D343, 150hp 140 tq 2,369 and that is with the enki`s back on-sounds about right....my best clean lap is now 2,25.381...i think a 24.9 might be possible. i am gifting the tune to racer fink to see what he thinks....
just for fun-took the adam malley fit for a spin and on the 6th lap ran a 2,24.387 clean...
Yaris 2,24.986 on 3rd lap.
Fiesta 2,25.409 and there is more if i had more patience...

I'll try again tonight. I was gleefully watching the berkeleying bloodbath last night. I need some serious practice at this track.
Does somebody have the Motegi results? I'll update the points and put 'em on the first page.
I lost 3 or 4 spots in the start of the first race...actually, I've done that in pretty much every race. Never heard the call for "green." I just wait for everyone to start passing me.

Would it possibly be helpful to pre-run a rolling start for the rest of the schedule and collectively decide on a visual reference point for the green call?
I think we need to be quiet from rounding the last turn until green is called, and the pole setter needs to call green loudly, clearly and repeatedly.
And BEFORE he gets to the line. Most starters throw the green a good 30-50 yards before the s/f line.

YEEEESSSSSS!!!! Some people have been calling it AT the line. That isn't how it works in real life.
Oh, I am out this week. Too berkeleying tired. Just started a new job at a tire shop and have to be there at 7:15 tomorrow. It's kicking my ass right now but I like it.
I'm on now (8:20) gonna try to get enough practice to not be a danger to others, and yeah, agreed, polesitter should call green - "GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN!"
I think I can drop out of the Bathurst coverage long enough to run. Heck, production-based cars for 1000km should take hours.
