I finally got around to doing some more tuning. I seem to have shaved off about a second from what I was doing with bootsy's tune, which was a couple tenths faster than what I'd previously managed. I've shared it on my storefront if anyone wants to play around with it. Do a search for GRM IT7 and you should find it easy.
EDIT: 1:44.888 is what I've got at the moment.
I should hopefully be on around 8:00PM tonight to practice and then get started with racing at 9:00PM... hopefully on time tonight. : )
Some people want to use different cars... umm... I think we've decided on this being a spec series. It's pretty short, so just deal. Our next series will have some variety to it. Hopefully I'll be posting my ideas for future series in another thread sometime in the next two weeks.

There's an update for XBox Live. It's not a long update, but you might want to log on a little earlier to make sure you make qualifying.
I was in the public lobbies last night and liveries either wouldn't load or would vanish a few laps into a race (right after contact of some sort). So we may end up with a bunch of plain looking blobs running around 
I may miss tonight anyways. 
I'll be there, haven't had much time to try the "fast" setup so I'm sticking with the one I have for now.
We're on now, practicing. Feature qualifying is at 9:00PM sharp.

I think I figured out why Xbox Live keeps booting me out....Livery. every race either in public hoppers or in private races with you guys I loose my connection when I run a paint job. Just ran a race w/o livery and no problems. So if a bare nekkid car shows up at the next race...it'll be me.

No problem. My silly livery rules are just for trying to complete the emersiveness of simulation, but it isn't worth someone not getting to participate.
I forgot just how busy my Friday nights were going to be. Missed last week, missed this week, and will miss next week as well...maybe the week after I'll be able to join up.
I've been tuning and practicing a lot, but still having trouble finding the right setup. Nice to see my Laguna times would have put me in the top half of the grid!
Forbidden to fet onto the XBox from the one who must be obeyed last night because No2 had three buddies over last night...SO, I rolled the little red Silvia out and went to the local hangout and got to watch a DB crack his Audi A4 widebody kit from the ground to the grill running 45+ through a dip. The car looked...uh...well lets just say the pinkish white pearl paint and the widebody kit were pegging the limp writst meter, but watching him crack his car, not once, but twice on a road we all know has two dips was priceless. He got laughed at as hard as the guy who rolled up in a donk, backed into a parking spot then realized he was in a very wrong place and not really well received(The go away druggie, GTFO you druggie ...calls from both vets and SOldiers were pretty funny). I had fun, but missed my Friday night XBox race
Friday nights havnt been real convinient for me lately. Not to mention Ive been playing rFactor and GTR EVO too much and now my forza skills suck.

I just bought the JDM Legends, Japanese Nostaligic Car, and NGK logos from the market place.
There are several good artists in our club. Hit up SmokinEZ, Retro Hoonage, for some great stuff. Me, I ain;t too bad with it either, but it takes a ton of time to do some stuff right. I have,(I lost count) a ton of pages full of all kinds of vinyls that are unlocked. Just ask, and we can trade some so long as the single vinyls are NOT sold in your storefront. Yes, we sell Liveries, but not each others hard work
I have SCCA logos from racerfink and a few others(they are all common between rf and my other friends) ask, and ye shall receive...of course you need to be on my friends list for me to gift the stuff ;)
Looks like I'm going to have to miss the next two races unfortunately. Tomorrow I'm traveling to pick up a car. Next Friday I'm traveling to go drive in a ChumpCar race.
Looks like I'll have some catching up to do when I get back. :)
We're taking this Friday night off, cause the President and CEO of the IT7 series is in Topeka right now, autocrossing against the best in the nation.
Oh, that's right. Great! I'm only missing one race then. Oh, and I'll be driving a 1st gen RX7 ChumpCar next week so I'll be there in spirit. :)
