So, i realize im not getting back into tc cars anymore. I tried just can't dig it.
Which means my old stuff needs to go. Couple controllers, a rockbuster, and an old rc10. And a few xmods cars, parts and conrltrollers.
Is this stuff worth anything? To anyone here? Id rather sell it cheape to one of us than make a killing. See it enjoyed again, maybe a rebuild thread.
If its scrap, its scrap.
Put it all up for 50% of what you think you can get as individual on eBay and it will sell. Someone was crazy enough to drive a few hours to pickup my old RC10GT in person.
Pics of the RC10? I'm interested.

By Rockbuster do you mean Clodbuster? If so I may be interested. Pics?
I'm interested in the xmods and parts
I'll grab some pictures tomorrow when I'm down in the shop. It is also my office after all. I really don't know what this stuff is worth but apparently there is interest. Just want to see it go to a good home where it'll be enjoy it again. Versus the boxes in various storage areas that it's been sitting for the last 20 years or so

There is absolutely an interest. People restore them and just sit them on a shelf. I've got two vintage R/Cs now that I'd love to restore at some point.
The RC10 is especially collectible, everyone wanted one.
I had a similar thought - the local RC shop gave me a $50 credit for my old Brat/Frog and (I think) Big Bear RC cars and controllers. They hadn't been run in decades. He has a shelf of "survivors" in the store and he said that's where they'll go after he gets them fixed and cleaned up. Hopefully when I have time I'll buy one of those mini rock crawlers. Or one of those neat little rally cars that I can set up a course in my back yard for.
IIRC, those are Gen 2 xmods. I've had both G1 and G2, they're both fun. 110% interested in the whole lot. I had quite a few of these at one point, but all of my RC stuff got left behind when I moved suddenly last year.

I got a little 1/24 crawler a couple months ago. This one: https://www.amazon.com/Axial-Wrangler-Crawler-Transmitter-Battery/
I added heavier beadlock rims (have reading glasses handy to assemble!) with smaller tires for a lower CoG (the smaller tires were actually a mistake but I was too lazy to return) and some updates to the steering linkage to make it less sloppy. I don't actually use it that much but it's fun to fool with on "Mount Comforter" and goes up surprising inclines.

Make me an offer I can't refuse!
Everyone interested: you pay shipping. The rule, however, is that there's some form of build thread on them. Give them a good home, and show us geeks how you did so
Rockbuster. If i can figure out which controller goes to it, it comes with a controller. And sone misc pieces. This one has been mine since it was new from vern Olsen's hobby shop in kane Pennsylvania in the late 80s. Many, many, many hours with it.
What do you want for the buggy? Prices are all over the place.
In reply to Appleseed :
No idea. Something plus shipping. In the immortal words of the godfather (butchered a bit) "make me an offer I can't refuse "
Its doing nobody any good in a rubbermaid tote on a shelf.
Did a deal go down on the RC-10? Appleseed, if you don't want to bite, I would make an offer.
Oh, hell, I dunno, $75 + shipping? Zip is 60042 if that help.

RC10s are nearly impossible to keep functional anymore as so many parts are discontinued. I have 3 of them that I got relatively recently and finished off the transmissions in a couple runs and haven't been able to get them working again and lost interest. They go for in the $200 range complete and working though. They reissued them back in 2013 but didn't make near as many as people would have bought, now people just sell the parts for absurd amounts of money on ebay.
