He works at Houston's resteraunt in Atlanta, the West Paces store. Simple syrup is a 50/50 mix of sugar and water boiled down to syrup.

1 shot simple syrup infused with basil

1 shot of grapefruit juice

2 shots vodka

Serve with a basil leaf in the glass. (They have a garden upstairs).

If you're in town, ask for Ian. He was in the $2004 Challenge and gets it. Stick your hand out, tell him I sent you, enjoy a drink.

Agreed. This is a good company but you'll work for it. Ian just turned 24, makes $75k a year with quarterly bonuses based on performance, usually 10-15%.

Connect away an tell him I sent you.

I'm laughing out loud!

So...let me get this straight. You combined:

Imitation Wine
Imitation Juice
Imitation Beer

The equation seems pretty straight forward to me.

Still LOLing...

Mix in ice cup and pour into shot glass, consume.

Know as one of three things: Liquid Novacaine, Three Weissman or a 44D (as in Vicks) all depending where you are at.

In a former life I was a bartender. I invented this girl for the ladies:

1 oz Chambord (rasberry liqour) 1 oz Malibu Rum splash of pinnapple juice

mix in shaker over ice----shake vigorously until a bit foamy, pour as a shot

This shot came to be known as the "Panty Ripper"

yes, bartending was fun

I also created a drink for those with heavy duty tolerances called the "Angry Russian"

In pint glass full of ice:

3oz vodka 2oz Kaluha 2oz Bailey's floater shot of Frangelico (hazelnut liquor)

It drinks easy and tastes good, but is ridiculously potent. If more than 3 are injested, be prepared for loss of memory, and massive confusion upon waking. After an Angry Russian night a friend of mine an I woke up on the roof of my house.....never been quite sure how that happened......

We used to do those without the Kaluah. It was important to have the Frangelica and vodka in the freezer at least overnight.

We called them 'Russian Quaaludes'.

Funny. I regularly drink any combination of 2 of those (in equal measures), but all three at once? MADNESS! The Jager / Rumple is known is a Dead Nazi, among any other names.

The Egyptian Magician. It was a bit of vodka, a bit less Kaluha, and chocolate milk. I don't know if it goes by another name, I was 17 when I came up with it, but I remember it went over pretty well.

I'm partial to my own concoction that I call the orangegasm. I make shots all the time for gals who come to the bar and ask for "whatever you wanna make."

It can be done as a drink on the rocks, a shot shaken, or a martini. Proportions to match your style. At my bar that literally means an 8-count of liquor and a splash of mixer, but its up to you.

Southern comfort

OJ

float frangelico

-On the rocks is obvious, garnish with a cherry and an orange slice

-Shot is just shaken and strained into a shooter; not a shotglass

-Add more of all ingredients for a martini, but don't chill the glass. No need to drown out the Frangelico. Go a little heavier on the SoCo, and you can stretch it a bit with vanilla vodka if you promise not to overdo the Frangelico. Don't ruin my drink.... and DON'T try to use a citrus vodka. Yuk. It turns out tasting like crap mixed with Kaopectate.

I've also done a variation on this theme. I love how 151 and OJ taste together, so I've done Orangegasm shots where I dipped the rims of the shooters in 151 and lit them, but the boss doesn't like flames so I only do it every once in a while. As another variation I will use a half-submerged cherry to float the Frangelico and 151 on top. Its much better than just mixing it all in because the heavy flavors hit you first. It makes you look like a hero.

Another variation on the theme is a Bloody Orangegasm where you use Grenadine. Float it on top and the implication is that you have to get through the blood before you get the orgasm.

A shot is the most commonly accepted form. Everyone loves it. It can get a bit sweet as a martini, so you can optionally grey it up with some salt on the rim and a lime at the customer's discretion. I just hate the idea of a lime hanging off a martini glass. Its so declasse' :)

Another one of my favorites is vodka on the rocks with fresh cracked pepper and a slice of cucumber. Its a good summery refreshing drink. You can open it up with a little splash of soda water, but I suggest you squish the cucumber a bit. Don't muddle it, but a twist will make its presence known.
