So I'd like to get the wife a key chain for Christmas. We have been together for over 30 years and when we were in high school she bought me a key chain. It's still on my keys to this day. It has our names engraved with a heart between them. I can't seem to find the same blank in todays world. Any ideas? It measures 2"x1/2"x11/8".
I can't tell from the pictures, but it looks like a bronze? Or is it a stainless steel?
I'm happy to make one for you if you buy the material :)

Good call, but it looked a bit bigger than 1/8? Maybe 3/16 would be better?
I'd bet that an actual engraving shop could whip one up pretty quick. (Note, actual, not Things Remembered in the mall.)
Things Remembered probably could if you supply the blank
Brass stock that can be cut to length and drilled for the key ring.
Laser etch with artwork of your choosing.

Metric?

I tried to write 1/8 without my glasses on and didn't notice. It might be 3/16"?
it was "gold" when I got it but that all wore off and so now it's goldish looking but probably just steel
PM me please.
That's easy to make. My guess would be brass. I can check to see if I have some 3/16" brass plate; if I do, it would be almost trivial to mill out a new blank.
