Currently an army civilian working as a technical logistician (lack of better term) in the Program Management Office for Cargo Helicopter (CH-47 Chinook) at Army Aviation Command. My job is to get what those in uniform flying Chinook helicopters what they need to fix their helicopters, especially if it isn't covered in manual, help troubleshoot sometimes, work to modernize their equipment, tools and helicopters to better do their job. As my boss puts it, our office does stuff. What the system isn't set up to do. Our office is mainly made up of retired army chinook test pilots,tech inspectors and one instructor pilot. I'm one of the retired tech inspectors/flight engineer/mechanic. We also have a couple of what we call college boys, one handles the checkbook and the other does our automation and both are good at what they do.

I have to sit through a managers meeting every few months due to my job title......even though I only supervise myself, 2 squirrels, a mouse, a flock of mosquitoes, and my 263 alter egos. 
Was lead technical support and trainer for a vehicle dynamics software simulation company. Now I'm more of an applications engineer. But I also assemble and do light fabrication work on our driving simulators, build examples, tune simulated vehicles. It sounds a lot cooler than it is. It's a small company and I really want to do something on my own and I'm working on a business plan for it. I also race cars when I can afford it :)
Stay at home dad. Mostly I'm in a support role that helps a very talented and motivated woman achieve every success that she could dream of. She gets career and family at the same time and I get to play with kids and cars. It's a fair trade.

I have been retired for a few years now, actually plenty of time to get used to it. Sadly, it is medically related and has not been totally easy to deal with since I have also had to give up competitive motorsports... but please everyone, do not cry for me. I have a great life and am fortunate in so many ways.
I think that I am going to start frequenting cruise nights and car shows. Not exactly rallying or hillclimbs but when one door closes you can still fall out the window, right?

I am an Inside Sales Representative for a steel company that does processing (we have a slitter and a cut-to-length line, we aren't a steel mill/foundry) where I sell sheets and coils of steel. I started this week, but I Interned here 5 years ago while going to college. I met the GM at a drag race at PIR where I was taking pictures of his 04 GTO. Turns out the car was a Bonneville record holder that he had just purchased and he didn't have a helmet. I let him borrow my helmet and he let me race the car. We met up at the track a few more times grudge racing with my P71 (the photo on his desk is of me treeing him in the P71 and he's in the GTO).
Detailer/lot manager/occasional technician/delivery driver/landscaper/whatever other oddball job needs to be done at the small indy dealer/shop I work for.... that nobody else wants to do
Working as an electrical engineer installing major modifications to a nuke power plant. Getting to play with new transformers, new switchgear, solid state relays, and related Data Acquisition systems.
Getting a bit run down from the 72hr plus weeks, but that should end around the beginning of June.

I am a line dispatcher for NYC Bus. I spend my days making sure buses come and go when they are supposed to, taking the occasional incident report and listen to people complain about how they think things should be. I also spend a fair amount of time disagreeing with people on a variety of subjects, eating food from various carts and trucks, and girl watching.
