Let's play a fun game:
I have to go up into the old garage attic today to add some supports for fixing the poor installation of a garage door. I have never been up there - never even poked my head up. I'm not sure there are any mechanicals up there either, so I see very little reason anyone may have gone up there in the last 10-15-20-more years, except to maybe store something.
So - what am I going to find?
I call dibs on lawn darts.

Either nothing, or an old door from some random place in the house.
I really am hoping for tissues, and nudie mags, but i wont get my hopes up to high.

I found a large axe with some rust along the cutting edge. I wish I was making that up.
Also, my interior basement door has a chain lock on the upstairs side of it... AND NO EXTERIOR ACCESS.

Your house is definitely not haunted.

My grandmother's basement was like that, but she was a paranoid one. Always thought someone was somehow going to get in through the side cellar door with a freaking piano blocking it.
Screens for old style windows you no longer have are things I found in garage rafters of an old house.
And the dead mice to go with that Poo. Oh and I'm going to say tike torches. Just because.

A plastic sled. Broken of course, and its blue.

We cleaned out our shed last fall. This is a shed that was empty when we moved in 11 years ago. SO MANY TIKI TORCHES! I have no idea how that happened. They just kept coming.
This is weird to me. I've only lived in my current house three years and I've been in the attic a couple dozen times. Setting mouse traps, checking on light fixture boxes, running ethernet wiring, etc etc. I put in a nice set of pull down stairs to make it easier.

The house has an attic and I have been up there a few times. The 'attached' garage was originally detached and I expect to see nothing up there but a tiny bit of conduit for the lights and garage door opener power. No heat, no comm, no water, no gas, and the attic doesn't connect to the other attic. I'll be surprised and probably a little mad if I find insulation up there.
