Just thinking of some new projects/skills that I want to learn:
Welding/shaping/forming aluminum - torch welding - edit - I can mig
Never rebuilt a manual transmission
Auto upholstery
There's probably a lot more, but these are at the top of the list.
Welding is at the top of the list for me.
Welding
Re-build an engine (correctly)
How to be a Ninja
I'd love to learn to weld. I fiddled with a stick welder when I was a kid, but that doesn't really mean anything in the world of actually caring for the quality of joints.I'd also like to learn to use body working hand tools. I'm amazed at what can be done with an english wheel, a leather bag, and an assortment hammers and such.

Yep, welding here. Followed by machining. Should have learned more of that from my pop before he was gone. He was a great machinist, though he didn't know how to weld.
Woodgraining and pouring babbitt
TIG aluminum
Use a planish hammer/ english wheel effectively
Climb a 5.7

Every skill needed to properly "finish" a project vehicle from a running, workable but needing work to a completed vehicle again after disassembling to a bare shell.

If you had written this last year I would have sent you the broken 5-speed from my Explorer for just the cost of shipping. I tore it down, but the lack of proper tools made me use destructive techniques to dismantle it so no more rebuilding.
Run the middle of the corner properly.
Learn Russian.
This year I’ve resolved to take advantage of some of our own courses to refresh/update my HTML & CSS, and maybe pick up a bit of some new stuff. The little dev skills I knew is woefully out of date so I might as well start from scratch. Also planning to make time sometime soon to dig into Matt’s Digital Painting for Concept Art. I figure at least an hour a weekend will make 2012 an educational year while still the bourne legacy online.
I'm picking up welding reasonably fast. The next thing I want to learn is panel beating. I really want to be able to make my own patch panels that look good.
Body repair
rebuilding and modifying transmissions (auto and manual)
getting Alyssa Milano to go down on me.
I was talking about this with some friends the other night . . .
- Welding
- Auto Body work (painting included)
- Rebuild transmissions
After pricing how much to get this T56 rebuilt and converted , I need to learn IMMEDIATELY
Women.
Christ, the list would be shorter by listing those I don't care to learn.

You're a teacher, electrodes are probably more effective and have a shorter learning curve.
SQL programming/database administration(would like to get more involved in business intelligence).
TIG welding
Mill/lathe operation
