working? I've never had a job that gave MLK-day off.
Well... I was having a dream but then I had to get up and go to work.
I only have a half shift, so I'm not in till 4. And not because it's MLK day.
Working..
No MLK day in Canada.

Day off. Bottling a batch of Red beer and slow cooking some ribs.
No classes today so I will be writing a paper and working on the tear down and assembly of another target rifle.

I'm celebrating the fact that I have a job I kind of like, and want to keep. In celebration of that, I'm working today. (I'm on break at the moment)
The only people who get MiLK day off are government and students.
Taking the MS6 for an oil change and hopefully, if UPS gets the tires here today, putting new rubber on the GTO. Ready for trip to the 24HR depending on what the weather is doing that weekend. The courthouse, bank and post office are all closed today. No way I could get any substantial work done under that scenario.

The NY Stock exchange is closed, though, and normally we get those holidays off.

I work for the govt but somehow don't get MLK off. How did I get beat out of that?

i work for a japanese company, and there is no MLK in japan.
