Glad to hear you made it through, hopefully you can find and eliminate what caused them!
Nice ride!
Glad to see you back, ZW!

Iono, it looks more like silver to me.

Awesomely great news about the purchase! About the motivation, not so much. Enjoy the car in good health!
Thanks for the kind words. There's still a bunch of testing to do, but like I said, so far so good. I'm encouraged by the results. The same week I bought the car I also booked a vacation in the sun and just relaxed. I needed it.
Oddly, though, in the last six months to a year I've really started to think about my age, life situation, and some of the things that are important to me. Maybe that's normal for my age, I don't know, but the conclusion I came to was that I've been doing the "right" thing for a long time (and it's worked) but I want more. IMO, there's no good reason to deny myself enjoyment and happiness in what is the latter part of my life. Mid life crisis? Maybe, but I've worked hard consistently for a long time, having some fun, but also not doing certain things I would really like to do. So I asked myself, if I knew I was going to die in a year, what would I want to do in that time? I (we) made some decisions just before this happened, and put the wheels in motion. Hopefully everything works out as planned and we'll both be much happier for it.
Regarding the license, I'm a little surprised by that one. A friend of mine had a similar situation a few months before but actually lost her vision for a few seconds while driving. She still has her license.
