So, the Miata made the drive from El Paso to Harrisonburg with only slight drama (more to come on that when I can get pictures). In the last few hours though the CEL came back on. Stopped and pulled the codes and it was the same ones that I have kept showing up. Random misfire and catalytic convert below threshold (this is BS because I just had the cat replaced again before the drive). I figure some basic maintenance couldn't hurt. I'm going to do the spark plugs, wires, and ignition coil. Where is a good place to get Miata parts?
Flyin' Miata has some parts, but we can't compete with Mazda Motorsports for new stock parts.
If I had a miata, I would buy from FM, simply because Keith is awesome...

Tom's a pretty good guy and he's still got a TON of parts, prices aren't bad either.

Contact Metalman. He usually can help out, but don't expect free shipping
Don't know if you have a Car Quest close, but they now own World Pac. World Pac is parts house that sells European and Asian OE Parts. Highly Recommended supplier. Denso, Daikin, Tokico, NDK, NOK, Aisin, Isho, Bando, GMB, etc. All service parts. You can ask CC for World Pac avails.

Why would I need to contact Metalman?
Platinum90 is right! The FM folks have been absolutely wonderful in helping me sort out issues with my Miata.

because I hit the wrong reply...duh
I bought everything for my nose to tail mechanical re-do of the mighty NA from the very nice people at Flyin' Mee-Otters.
Not the cheapest, but it all came in 3 or 4 huge crates, I knew it was all the best stuff, and a nice lady called a few days later to make sure it had arrived alright was the right stuff.
FM is the very model of what customer service should be.
I ordered some stuff from Go Miata and they shipped a plastic cowl grille in it's original Mazda box. It arrived bent double and broken in two as one would expect, and despite my having not signed for it, it's being handled as a UPS claim while my $130-odd is tied up in the ether...
