Folks,
A buddy of mine is the chief organizer of this upcoming event. I've been to it the last 2 years and, if you're into aviation at all, it is a blast. The purpose of the non-profit event is to raise money for the building of an aviation museum and warbird restoration center at the airport. This year's event will feature a B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-25 Mitchell and the only flying versions of a B-24 Liberator and a TP-51C Mustang. If you want to pony up some money (tax deductible) you can even get a flight in one of the WWII aircraft!
The event is February 20 through February 23 and is the first stop on the 2009 National Tour, as organized by the Collings Foundation.
In addition to the air show, you could wander over to the other side of the airport and check out the new track at the European Rally School too! It's at the same facility.
Here is a flyer for the event.

Absolutely! As SupraWes pointed out, in between Gainesville, FL and Jacksonville, FL. Map below. If you can't catch the event in Keystone, there is a national tour with lots of stops around the US. Here is the current schedule: http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm

No, but my buddy is working closely with Bob and is tackling the fund raising side. I've had the privilege of flying with Bob and he is an amazing pilot!
What are the prices for riding in the Warbirds?

B-25 Flights - 30 Min. experience

$325 donation per person for rear fuselage passengers
(min 4 passengers, 2 in front and 2 in rear / max 6 passengers)
P-51C Flight Training

$3200 for a full hour of flight instruction
(The P-51 will only be at select stops on The Wings of Freedom Tour. Call for availability in your town)
Oh to have that kind of money for entertainment
I know...that's an HPDE and then some.
It's $240 for a "Season Pass" to all 8 autocrosses by the PCA up here. Add in the 2 SCCA ones (that are really two per weekend for another 4) for $100 and I still have $60 leftover for 12 $5 footlongs for the lunches.
I bet it's worth every penny though and I would gladly pay it. sigh
