Not to thread-jack my own thread, but there is that double-autocross scheduled for Orange County Convention Center next month.

6 minutes?
What do you do with the other 5 minutes and 23 seconds?

Seems like another good thread. I'll fess up to driving 9 hours to cut a slice.

I haven’t had Bojangles in a million years. Isn’t there one just off I-4 in Sanford? I have thought about making that stop on the way back from Orlando.
There is a newer one in sanford. They were there, then closed up, chik fil a bought it, demolished it and put a new restaurant in its place.
then bejangles built a new restaurant across the street basically.
PDQ tried to muscle in on the sanford chicken cartel but they dont stand up to the big chik.
also deland publix has a healthy sized "ethnic" selection, they may have it.
im surprised you cant get it in ormond there with the large Jewish presence. That area needs a good Kosher deli.
In reply to TJL (Forum Supporter) :
The Ormond Publix out by 95 used to carry it, but no more.
And, yes, we need a real deli. We used to have a real bagel shop, but that was years ago. Our local kosher restaurant also closed but, looking online, I see a new one. I’ll have to investigate.

Oh yeah, my search history already includes “What is the shelf life of unopened mustard?”
Several times a year I drive that far for good Puerto Rican barbecue, so I say it's worth it.
Truly great food can justify a fair bit of inconvenience, IMPO.
My wife and I routinely go 3 hours each way and an overnight for a pizza and a bunch of long islands.
We drove 6 hours each way to Marquette, MI for beer in the evening and bagels in the morning.
Flew to Mexico for some churros.
Yeah, I get it.

Growing up, Ba-Tempte mustard and pickles were just the standard. Call it the food of our people.
The mustard has just the right amount of kick. It wasn’t weak like traditional yellow mustard.
The fact that their website looks rather 1998 should also tell you something.
This was the E36 M3 where I grew up:
I get it off of Amazon now that I am 750 miles away.
But now I make my own:

Me too. But in this case, I would just get it on Amazon or order from the website. I sometimes go for the experience... like a favorite restaurant. I'll drive 3 hours round trip to go to the Jean Bonnet tavern in Bedford, but just for mustard that I'm enjoying at home, Prime free delivery would be my go-to. Only way I would drive for mustard is if I were visiting the factory tour or something like that.
Jean Bonnet is no joke!

You drove further than that to hang out with me and crazy mofo in the hot tub.
In reply to wvumtnbkr :
I didn't think of that lol. There a few people on here I've driven 2 1/2 hours each way just to hang out for a lil bit and have lunch.
I once drove from Morgantown WV to corolla NC to get pizza at the tomato patch. Good pizza! That's like 20 hours round trip. Left on a Friday night at 8pm. Made it for sunrise, had breakfast and slept in my rx7 with my then fiance.
Then had lunch at the tomato patch and drove back. Made it by like midnight sunday. Glorious!
