Some hilarious individual (no sarcasm here) printed pretty authentic looking parking tickets and put them on cars. When you scan the parking ticket you get Rickrolled hahaha.

I like how at the end the article says "the city is not collecting those fines"
That surprises me, think of the increased revenue.

Kinda makes me want to move there. Sounds like a fun place to live. I would absolutely CRACK UP if I got a ticket the the QR code rickrolled me!
Sometimes the tickets end up being cheaper than the permit.
I can't believe people are still rickrolling each other. That's an antique meme in internet time.

Dont. I live here and it is full of hippies and no jobs. Closest SCCA sanctioned anything is 2-3hours away in Knoxville, TN. Tons of people move here because its cool and hip but there are no jobs for them. There is one group that runs at the WNC agg center but they arent affiliated with any sanctioning body.

Yeah, it's been around almost 10 years now.

Aside from the bring-your-own-job thing, its kinda berkeleying awesome. I'd love to live there.

Buncombe County has a stupid real estate market atm. I live 1 county over and my rent is 1/3 of what I would pay in Asheville. Also it is kind of nice if you are into offroading with The Shop and the Flats less than an hour away; Windrock, Gultches, uwharrie, Beasly Knob, and Harlan, KY within 3-4 hours.

This reminds me of Dimension X by Lil Duece Duece.
Meme police going to throw you in jail
A Charlie Sheen meme is an epic fail
Memes age fast
They're measured in dog year
Sheen memes so old it's gross and dog eared

Highlands Sports Car Club does use SCCA Solo II rules for classing. With the exception of a couple of local classes. They have a nice lot in Franklin to run now (5 flat acres, dubbed Black Pond). First autocross at night is March 23. School and Autocross during the day April 2 & 3. They put on some fun events.
Made a stopover in Asheville to visit a friend (who along with 95% of the rest of Asheville, is attempting to establish a career as an artist) on my 'NASCAR road trip' last fall. Interesting place to say the least.
Within 5 min of arriving, our friend was explaining how the geometric patterns in his latest art project could be used to align the energies of crystals or whatever, as my buddy and I are using every ounce of self control we possess to hold back laughter. Later in the evening, we observed well over 100 people participating in a drum circle in the center of town, ate some kind of delicious ethnic meat stick things while a belly dancer entertained us, then had a night cap at the local tea house (where multiple people were observed sporting tails and/or capes as part of their regular wardrobe.) Like I said, interesting to say the least, but a very pleasant place to visit.
I live and work one hour south of Asheville. I always like going up there for projects, but I also like when I leave. One of my former co-workers moved there with another company after we wouldn't transfer him to our office there. I had lunch with him recently and he said when he moved there he was pretty liberal (I already knew that). He said living there has made him much more conservative. Mainly due to all the unemployed young people sitting around waiting for Uncle Bernie and the fact that his wife is a successful business woman.

I worked from home for a while, but needed to go to my actual office 3-4 days every month.
A parking permit was $50 a month, and had me parking the better part of a mile away. Since this is MN, that mile can suck sometimes. The ticket for saying "screw it" and parking 20 feet from the door was $7 for the day. $7 well spent as far as I was concerned.
