I can't believe that none of you see the obvious answer. Brought to you by Ronin and the Transporter. Big Audi S8. Power, control, and not giving way to a light bump from the baddies car/truck/APC.

The s8 would be broken down and in the shop all the time when you needed it......The true answer, as proven by Clarkson, is a bright green Fiesta ST.

The day I duct tape a p.a. system to the trunk of a faded red 1990 miata and blast No Doubt's I'm Just a Girl, the demons that have been in the mirror for the past 25 years will be gone and ain't nothing else that could catch me. Well, that's what the car says. Really, just the car.

510 HP, AWD, 0-60 in 4.2 sec and 155 MPH top speed. Looks a little goofy on the outside, but not crazy.

Play Subaru Legos with it and you basically have a larger STi wagon.

OR just get a Forester STi.

Ronin was mentioned earlier, but it's worth repeating

I'm in for an E46 wagon. Plenty of "go", Manual transmission option, RWD, easily adopted as a DD.

With a little bit of forethought and minimal "daily" inconvenience you rig up a system so when SHTF you can have a passenger strap down and bi-pod a drummed AR-10 out the back. Nothing says "go away" like a good tail gunner spittin .308 slugs your way

(guilty of thinking about stuff like this in traffic)

I'd go with an FAL or M-1 if you're using .308, but that's just me

AWD wagons to me seem to be the ticket. Space, pace, all-condition useability.

Or the RallyFighter

Nothing beats wood furniture .

To vehicles though, I could also be swayed towards a 1980 Ford F150

Hopefully you found it, thanks to ProDarwin. I was napping by 4 pm. It's a decent movie with REAL driving!

My son and I were on youtube for a while yesterday watching videos of SuperStock Hemi Barracudas. They make some glorious noises!

Age and wisdom will always defeat bravado and brute force. Uncle Jesse was a Jedi compared to Bo and Luke.

If I was running from the cops around here, it would be a white turbo-diesel Dodge pickup. Turn one corner and you'd disappear into the crowd.

Running from the baddies, I'd probably go with a rally weapon. Something nimble and agile that can put down power ASAP. EVO, STi, etc. But honestly, I think a bike of some sort would work best. Because the way to really get away is to disappear, and bikes can go into buildings and out of sight.
