My Ford is up for sale.
1963 Falcon Futura 4 door. It has a 200ci six from a 68 Mustang mated to a T-5 5spd with an 80's fairmont diaphragm clutch for lighter operation. Narrowed Explorer 8.8" drum brake rear end. Granada spindles and disc brakes up front. Custom coilover front suspension. Lowering blocks out back. Non power brakes take a little extra pedal effort but it stops very well. 17X7 steelies with beauty rings and hubcaps, Every ball joint, tie rod ect in the front is new. less than 1500 miles on the tires. AGM Battery relocated to the rear, lots of other little upgrades. Heater box is a modern plastic reproduction..ect. Aluminum radiator with electric fan. Genuine Ferrari 308 FIAMM air horns. Too much to think about.
The champagne exterior with red interior is an awesome combination. It was repainted in the 80's and shows a lot of patina
Newer carpet, Mooneyes steering wheel, Hurst shift lever, Seats repaired and refoamed under the vintage upholstery. Digital intermittent wipers with a 0-60 second variable delay. Fox body wiper motor for more torque.
It runs well. It is LOW. Surprisingly quiet cruiser. Gets quite decent fuel economy. Handles nicer than you would think or would care to drive on a bench seat This was my daily driver for 3 years.
I never worked out a solution for the speedometer. A call to modern driveline would have the adapters and cables easily sourced. Needs a headliner.
I will include the V8 T-5 bellhousing since I know someone will 5.0 swap it
$4250 located in Eugene, OR
I will be tidying up some things over the next few weekends and putting it on ebay soon. Figured I would toss it up here first.
Any questions go ahead and ask.

Dammit, I've always loved that one. I could almost overcome the too far away factor ('cause I'm crazy enough to fly and drive it cross country) but I need to get rid of a few things here before I'd have the money. Its a great little car, hope it finds a good home.
I too have loved watching this one come together. Too many things sucking away my funds at the moment. I really wish I could bring it home. In my area, I bet you that would be worth several thousand more. They have all rusted away here.
Damn I wish that was on this side of the country.
3000 miles. That would be a hell of a road trip.

Pay the expenses and I'll drive it to this side of the country for ya ;)
Cam you post pictures of the "patina" and engine?

I wish it was the right for me to buy that from you. But alas, it is not.

I always liked this car. Hopefully you have something awesome in mind to replace it with. Good luck with the sale.
My first Project car was a 63 Futura. It was a great gateway into the car world and taught me a ton about working on cars. This car is what I always dreamed of building mine into but I was a poor college student at the time and could only afford to keep it running. If this was closer I would seriously consider. GLWS

Put a hitch on it and a tow bar on Jumper's Triumph and deliver the Triumph to Chandler on the way by. We're all here to enable.
This is one of my favorite GRM builds of all time. I hope it finds the right owner. GLWS!
