What is the front box for? Is there lunch in there? Golf clubs? Machine gun?

window with screws!!
I'm having convulsions. I can't look any more.
Issues with execution aside, that thing is seriously berkeleying cool. However, if I dragged it home, I would almost certainly end up living in it.
Oh man! These those are even more strange and awesome than this ad makes them appear. The front doors are actually gullwing doors. The strange rear panels are designed as a camper shell- the sides pop down to be parallel with the ground, and the top panel pups up, and voila a huge tent space. I've never seen one for sale but I'd bet it's not a crackpipe price even with condition issues.
That thing is seriously cool in a '70s freak way. It's not something I want but I don't think the price is out of line for what it is.

I bet it's still on CL next week and the week after, and the week after that, because... Divorce is Expensive!!!
For a scientific test of the Divorce-O-Meter: Show a pic of this, um... fabulous vehicle to your significant other, then post her/his exact words here. We'll be waiting!
I can't image how hot it gets inside when parked/driven around in Phoenix in the summer time. Dry heat or not, that looks like it would be uncomfortable at best.
Pretty cool looking thing if you like the Logan's Run meets Tom Petty music video vibe.
Reminds me of the buggy in the arcade game Moon Patrol. I'd buy it, make it matte black with woodgrain, and put an Atari 2600 and a console TV in the back!

It's even worse - I think your feet are in there, when driving.
Needs more shag carpeting.....and a CB radio. I'd also have to paint the fuzzy green guy giving the finger on the back.
I remember seeing that in the Kit Kar magazine buyers guide. Anyone else get that magazine? Pretty sure I still have a few copies.

I'm guessing fiberglass wouldn't hold up too well to the average mine or IED.
