1999 VW Eurovan GLS, techno blue, VR6 12V, awesome shape. I intended to convert this to a weekender, but time/space prohibit in the near term so I bought an MV with the folding table/bed interior already in it, so this one can go. Body is in awesome shape. 205k miles on the clock, engine/trans run awesome, would not hesitate to drive it cross country without notice. Middle row couch is included, not shown in the pictures because we never use it. Will come with OEM Eurovan wheels, not the Sparco wheels shown. Have not had time to swap back yet.

So question, Is it a flat floor if you remove the rear bench? It looks like it from some of the pictures I saw but wanted to make sure. Seem like a nice race track support vehicle and bike transporter/sleeping rig.
Tow rating is 4400 lbs, I typically tow a 6x10 trailer and this is not an issue, 4400 lbs would probably want a trailer brake controller and no windage (flat or open trailer), it's not a torque monster. Tow manners are great though.
Yes, flat floor without the rear bench, very low floor height. If this doesn't sell for my price then I will take out the rear seat (4 bolts) put in a wheel chock and use it as a winter/ice bike support rig until I can convert it. This is a perfect small family support rig for bike racing, that is exactly our use along with road/weekend trips.
I've seen a couple of those things towing Porsches to the track, driven by veteran racers. They had nothing but good things about they way that they tow.

I don't disagree, it's not a pleasure to work on, this is the only VW I've owned and the first time in my life that I've taken a car to a mechanic (although more for time/space constraints, but still). I bought this originally as a trial to see if it was worth the headache, and after living with it for a couple years I am doubling down, for us the platform is just right. The only other thing that would fit the bill would be a converted Sprinter, but they are very big, very expensive, and my wife probably wouldn't be as comfortable driving something like that on trips.

It's a 20 gal tank and without the trailer, but family loaded, on roadtrips I get around 360 miles per tank with a typical target cruising speed of 78mph.
UPDATE: I'm looking at a very rusty pop-top with a clean interior and manual trans in the next day or so, if the interior and pop top are as clean as they look in the pictures (and no one else buys it and drives it away first), then this will no longer be for sale.
