that's why keyed chucks are worth less than their scrap weight 
I think these would make sweet shift knobs. Especially if you have damaged threads or something on you shift shaft.

Neat. Now that Robbie mentioned the shift knob (has me thinking a bout other custom options) a group buy does have potential!
Can't think of anything to do with a chuck key, but some of the metal artists might have a use.
