I'll have a 3VZ-FE for sale soon if anyone is interested in an engine for a V6 swap. Currently installed in my MK1 MR2. Toyota mechanic was doing the swap, he purchased a running V6 manual Camry, pulled the engine, did all the maintenance (gaskets, plugs, timing belt, etc.) and installed it but he did not complete it. I am going a different direction, so don't need it. Comes with the ECU and engine wiring harness. Nothing wrong with it as far as I know, I ended up getting a 1MZ-FE aluminum V6 from a Solara for cheap that was detailed and ready to drop in the car, so I am going that route for my MK1 since it is 100 pounds lighter.  These are 3.0, double overhead cams, 185 HP, 189 torque, boost easily, iron block, aluminum heads, simple ECU, so great for swaps.

Pictures soon, make me an offer, price will be cheap as I have no use for it. Put it in a Prius for Challenge glory!

I don't need to be asking this but is there a cheap longitudinal trans these bolt to?  With the ecu it's good to go no security issues to worry about?

Yes, these early Camry V6's don't have an immoblizer so simple to get going (7 wires according the interwebs).

There may be a truck transmission that fits it longitudially, but not a Toyota expert, but becoming one.......

Quick look says I'm better off not going down this rabbit hole.  I could see it as a great Challenge engine just not for me.
