I am in the Atlanta GA, area , and I am looking for a cage builder for my dedicated track subaru  BRZ. It has a 6-point cage in it now built by a builder in FL where the car is originally from. I want to complete the cage from the roof to the A-pillars and door bars. I am not sure if the builder will want to do this or start over from scratch for their own concerns. This car is a track day car and not currently competing in events. I plan to discuss the cage configuration with the builder and we can decide on the best layout.

Any fabricator recommendations would be helpful.

Check with Roswell Outback Automotive Racing in Cumming.  Formerly Robinson Racing Enterprises.  Barry Trivette just took the business over after several years working there.  He is the man!

Holy cow, Robinson Racing Enterprises put the cage in my SS/GT Mustang in 1988! Blast from the past.

The cage that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  had made for his BRZ rally car comes to mind.  Half way downpage 36/79 (in this build) references a cage builder who will come to you. Truly a journeyman. I think that's awesome so that is whom I would recommend.

I also dug and found this link in that build thread if you don't want to get lost and entertained for a couple days.

I'll second (third?) Roswell Outback Automotive Racing (Robinson Racing when I used them) in Cumming. They did a great job on my Miata.

Anyone know how to best contact him? Sent a website message but haven't gotten a reply. Depending on the normal things projects depend on (pricing, timing, etc) I can get two cage jobs lined up, possibly three. I absolutely love the idea of what he's got going.

In reply to Spearfishin :

He's always going around the country building cages for people, I know he's been further than GA.  He also does some stage rally when he gets a free moment smiley

Late to reply to this...Not in ATL, but not far up the road in Greenville, SC, but Barber Raceworks does a lot of spec e30 cages, I am sure he could take care of you

So go to stage rallies and hold up a sign "9hio, cage builder", airport-taxi-driver-looking-for-his-passenger-style? laugh

I forget FB can be used for more than finding more projects I don't need on marketplace!

You'll need to log in to post.
