From that:
2013 Ford Focus ST: Debuting with the same 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine that the much larger Ford Explorer SUV uses, the new Ford Focus ST packs a serious punch.
Um... what? Since when does the Explorer use an Ecoboost 4-banger?
Interceptor model actually has it available.
So whats the deal with car clubs? I have joined the GRM club, but I would like to set up another club for the autocross club I race with (in real life) and yet another for a local group of friends I hang out with (not terribly serious racers). Unfortinatly after joining the GRM club It seems that the option of creating a club has become hidden from me.
Please tell me that we are not limited to joining just one car club?

I can answer your question or fulfill your request not to be told, but not both.
Actually, My request was to be told. But I get the feeling that thing I wanted to hear is not reflective of the games capabilities.
Ok, question.
What do (did) I need to do to get the 65 Mustang, Tesla and CR-Z? I cant even see them as DLC on the game, but I see the mustang in the club garage and the CR-Z was racing against me in the Hybrid races.
They're part of the launch pack.
Look inside the package, you should've got a card that has a couple codes with it.
Enter the codes on Live, and you'll get the cars.
So what's up with Sunday?
In reply to Cole_Trickle:
Mustang and tesla are indeed part of the launch pack. But the cr-z is a preorder bonus car only available if you preordered from the microsoft store I think. I preordered from best buy and the bonus car was the new bmw 1M coupe.
So, what's the cutoff years for the Trans-Am cars? Is the 64 GTO and 73 Trans-Am eligible? Even though I'm pretty sure I'll be running a Jim Hall Chapparal '70 Camaro.

How bout someone just makes a list of all eligible?
Where was everybody last night? Tom was probably working on the website, but it was just me and Cusco...
Haven't purchased my own XBOX (w/ wireless) yet. Close...
In reply to racerfink:
Yes, he is/was. I've barely been on the front end of the site at all today. Also, there some newsletter birthing going on.
Tomorrow night is looking fair, though. Anybody in for some B-spec and Fantasy Trans-Am? (I think fantasy is a better description for the A600 cars in the garage...)

Here's the target list I was looking at.

Seems there's all sorts of problems with the Nov. DLC going on IF you bought the season pass. You're supposed to be able to download from within the game, so that it knows you've already paid for it. But as of right now, you have to download the free Sirocco off the XBox dashboard, then reboot the system, and then the free Nov. DLC content will be on the in-game marketplace.
I'll be on again as soon as I get power back.
Stupid October snow storm.
Where has everybody gone?
Why do the cars drive like pigs after being modified? I did a 93 Mustang Cobra up as a road racer (minimal engine mods, full suspension, minor lightning, wider stickier tires) and wouldn't turn to save it's life. I then did a "full out" SVT Focus (Turbo AWD swap) that went up to S3 stats (trying to do a tarmac rally car) and nada, still drove iffy. Am I missing something?
I would check that the suspension settings are roughly equivalent to what you would have them on a real car. The default suspension settings on F3 (at least) for the race suspension don't play well at all with a lightened car.

Check your corner entry speeds. Video games have pretty poor conveyance of how fast you're going. If it's a track/car you know, could you actually go into that corner that hot?
Yeah, entry speeds are good. I can early brake and get the thing down to slower than I would take the corner in a stock Ka, and it still won't turn. I should look at the settings, but I have a feeling the "mess" comes from doing the race tires. I noticed the non-race ones give more "feedback" so I know when I'm on the limit.

* Ford Falcon (66)
* Ford Mustang Coupe (65-68)
* Ford Mustang Boss 302 (69-70, raced until 73 ish)
* Shelby GT-350 (65-66)

What can the be tuned to/must they have. I dont's remembered.
Real Trans Am specs were (varied a little year to year, but the main points):
