That is really good!!! Like the logo. :-)
The virus from hell has finally decided to go away and play with some one else. I am back from the dead and will most likely be online tonight practicing for tomorrow. I think I still have to update the car with the new skins that Air made so I will do that and then update the car on Google Drive from the server in case there is a problem
Glad you're feeling better! The car still had the one-wheel toe adjustment as of last night, so I don't think it ever got updated.
Should we add in brake balance adjustment?
It won't make the car faster, but it might be helpful to help some avoid to much brake oversteer.
I'm not opposed, though I am starting to get used to it. It would probably make rear lockups less of a tank slapper...

I put up a "new" car last night. Try downloading it and reinstalling it over your yours. It also has the updated liverys in it.
It's simple enough to do, just add a few lines to the setup file (enable it and what range of adjustment).

Sounds simple but it is above my pay grade. . . .
For some reason.... probably magic.... the car seems to already have brake bias adjustment.... magic?
I even downloaded the one you have on the drive, it has BB adjustment already.
Sometimes is pays just to look I guess.
It's already pretty far forward (67% think), so I am not sure why so much rear lockup, maybe rear toe settings?

If I go into the Data folder and look at the brake file, I can see those settings, but I don't have anything when running in the game indicating adjustability? Also still only have the toe adjustment for one wheel?
I did re-download the car this afternoon... ??
Good racing last night. The second race for me was great fun.
Next week there has been a schedule shift due to there being 11 tracks on the schedule. .
We will be running the Atlanta track next week.
Colin is well on his way to setting the HC record set by Sauce last season.
Notably absent this week we're Sauce and Pro. Looking forward to a full field next week!!!
I have noticed something as I slowly improve from careening off the track often to mostly staying on pavement and apron when I downshift while turning if I'm not under heavy braking the chassis upsets and I'm only able to recover about half the time. If it were a real car I would say it's because it's banging into the next gear under power. My pedal setup has only gas and brake. Rather than spend money on a new setup would it work to map a button on the wheel to be a clutch that I can press and hold until I release it or since it would basically be an on off switch would I end up in the same place essentially? This is just a thought process for now since I won't be able to try anything until Monday at the soonest.
In reply to gunner (Forum Supporter) :
The NB Miata we're driving doesn't have auto rev-matching, so yes, it's banging the downshifts with an abrupt clutch release and you get instant engine braking. I've never tried button clutching, but I'm guessing the clutch release will still be abrupt, but you could at least coordinate the release with a rev match.
Another option is to drive around the problem by delaying the downshift until you are about ready to get back on the power... not necessarily the fastest way around, but faster than spinning off track...
ProDarwin said:There is a setting in content manager called "Auto Blip" or similar that will rev-match for you.
I think you can turn this on at the bottom of the screen where you see the server before you join the server. The button I think is near / next to the join button if I remember.

Perfect, thanks for posting that. Edit: I just noticed it has auto clutch as an option as well, super! I'll mess around with it this week. Fun!
First; Great racing this week, some great draft battles and bump drafting just like in the real life spec Miata series. Can't wait for the video Air.
Second; I tend to blip the throttle with these cars regardless. Get is slowed down, slam the paddle and blip the gas at the same time. Seems to work 90% of the time for me.
Great little cars, I almost want to buy one, but I will stick with my Porsches. LOL
