After much testing of all cars, the Versa, Cee'd, and xD are getting A, B, C for their number plates in the team garage. No7, as usual will go on the new Yoshimura Suziki, or the Punkspeed VW Fox. heavy cars are just not my forte! I need lightweight and tight handling without heavy piggish roadfeel, so today is going to be the acid test of which car I will drive between the yellow suzuki, and the black Fox.
Well, starting tonight, I'm gonna be on the majority of tonight and tomorrow as SWMBO is away for Turkey dinner.

I'm in the same boat, although I may be playing some GTA tonight.
I will be away for family obligations tonight, but might be back home tomorrow night and play some.
I should be on later tonight after the spawn are asleep. I may also be able to run Sunday as I'll be off that night after all.
I'll be on late tonight and as much tomorrow as I can get away with/stand.
Still haven't decided between Fit or Fox. Doesn't really matter, doesn't look like I'll necessarily be competitive in either.
I thought there was an 'official' number and car entry thread, either here or on FB...
Oh well, #99 Land Shark Lager Suzuki.

Honda Fit or Volkswagen Fox (haven't decided)
Also, I'll probably miss the very first race. My hockey team made the playoffs.
Okay got my Live Gold back, so I'm good to go for some practice. I turned a 1.03.6 the other day so I'm getting faster little by little in this Kia
I was curious what a fast lap is on Iberian Full with these cars. From my little test and tune session a 1:03.6 is pretty quick.
Are we using the same car every race?
I ran a 10 laps in the Versa and on lap 8 or 9 turned a 1:04.9. Switched to the Mazda 2 and within 3 laps was running a half second faster consistently. I'm about a half second off the pace if everyone is in the 1:03 range.

I personally find it to be a pretty difficult track and probably one of the "exception" tracks where some cars will perform better than others. You basically have to have a perfect turn 1 to have a fast lap. Then hit the next hard left at the top of the hill perfect and then the hairpin before the front straight is critical. If you lose speed in one you will drop several tenths easy. So far I've seen a few mid to high 1:02s. I ran a 1:02.6 in the mazda 2 yesterday but that was after about 45 minutes of practice and only 2 sub 1:03 laps. So for race pace I'm guessing anything mid to low 1:03 will be pretty competitive.

Yeah if 1:03's gets me midpack I'm good with that. Apparently though it's not ultra quick.

1:03 was a very good lap for me, took me about 20 laps to get it down that far after some tuning. That Mazda2 is good for 1:02's apparently, if your Atticus.

Yes, must use the same car throughout the season.
Everyone decide tonight! Ill be on around 8 to start a lobby!
Have fun guys! I expect a full after action report
I'm driving home now, I should be online for practice....SWMBO permitting.
I'll probably not partake in the series. I can't come close to 1:03 lap times.
There's only one way to get faster. Not racing is definitely not it.
Well... son of a bitch. My internet E36 M3 the bed while racing and I think I took seiz out in the process. We were racing close then his car turned, everyone went in the air and I lost comms.
Sorry seiz, that was totally on me man.
pulled a 1:04.2 in race.. was a good time. Good race guys.
I pulled a 1:04:06 once, then was about a second off of it every other lap at least haha. That was great fun guys, way better than racing with obnoxious randos. Hopefully I can improve from 10th next time.
No worries dude, I think the game must have figured out what was going on, because it was like you hit me, and then you ghosted through me. Heck, it's not like I'm battling for the win anyways. It's cool, stuff happens.
Speaking of which...Fried, I believe I owe you an apology of my own. I thought I had completed my pass, and then took a corner and came over on you. I'm still shaking off the rust, so I'm sorry that my situational awareness isn't what it was last season. I will endeavor to watch my sides and back more carefully from now on.
Good race tonight dudes. This Kia needs about 100lbs shaved from it to get me up close to the leaders.. okay maybe it's my driving.. Too late to change cars?
Well, hopefully next time I can run with volume on. My roommate decided to call it an early night and crank the volume down to mute level 10 laps in... but regardless good times.
