Yea, there's probably a way. Last night I finally found how to get to the leaderboards. LoL

Yeah I don't understand the flow of everything took me a while to find the car customization etc. I see they have those built in leagues but I am not sure how they work etc. I am a few days behind as I just got it yesterday. I preordered but not the ultimate because I don't own an xbone. Borrowed one to see how good this game is first.
So, I built an epic lobby racer last night for B class......53 Vette, non-aero full grip tune. While it only packs 380hp/400tq....the blue flame 6 makes that power EVERYWHERE!!!!
I'm still grinding my campaign just unlocked second volume at least its a bit more interesting than D class was. But the AWD turbo D class 65 mini cooper is just retarded I think its faster in D class than my A class GT350R
It's like the ESCUDO of Forza 6
So, poking around with it last night, if we just want to hop right into a series like we were doing back on FM4, I think '82 IMSA or '14 BTCC/WTCC would be the easy button. The cars are pretty well matched and not too difficult to drive for all skill levels. Or, we could just hit the easy button and do MX-5 Cup. For IMSA it would be the '82 Ferrari 312BB/LM and the '81 Ford Capri Turbo. For BTCC/WTCC you have five 2014 models: Honda Civic, Audi S3, BMW 125i M Sport, Mercedes-Benz A-Class and Toyota Avensis.

Mine is Scooby powered and in a-class.....it wheelies then rolls
It's bizarre; the bloody Jeep Willys drives like a GD gokart while the Abarth can't even make a turn at 10MPH.

Don't forget the BMW M1 Procar, the Aussie V8 Supercars, and you might be able to squeeze the Volvo S60 STCC cars in. There are a bunch of GT3, GTE, GTLM variants as well.

Yep....lol
I wonder if awd would help my 595 though.
So, if you have a dare mod like Perfectionist equipped (sim damage, no rewind), it dirties your lap times on the leaderboard. What kind of crap is that?!?! I can understand why it's that way for a boost mod, but a dare that doesn't change the performance values in any way? That's just lazy coding, T10.
In reply to racerfink:
And it's why I now run no mods in Career. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Also on the stupid side of things, my '49 Mercury likes to go up on two wheels with its massive 355-wide steam roller wheels out back.
Yep, any mods at all dirty the lap. Though I do like the perfectionist, 50% extra credits is handy. I figure I can always go back to rivals and duplicate my lap time.
I'm also getting to the point of turning off TCS at least for the lower power cars I've got. I'm really beginning to feel how much it's slowing me down. Hi-power cars I don't quite have the trigger touch yet. But, with the trigger vibration on loss of traction I'm getting there.

I almost said the Procar, but I wasn't sure what the Class/Number was for it. I looked into the Volvo, I think it will require the other cars to be adjusted if we want to include it. The other five NGTC/WTCC cars are within a couple points already.
I might try turning rewind off if the opponents would stop parking in the apex of almost every turn. Does cranking opponent difficulty to the max fix this?

Kill ABS, TCS, and swap the clutch control to the A button. You'll screw up for awhile, but you'll get very quick very quickly.
I haven't run assists since FM2.
The closest I've ever come to throwing a controller through my tv was the Can-Am cars on Rio full for five laps...
I suggest Touring Cars for the first race of volume 5.

History note: I do not recall Can Am racing on street courses, nor were there many chicanes in that era. Leave the street courses and Tilkedromes to Touring Cars.
The AI is seventh level of hell attrocious in multi-player. At least you can turn their aggrssion down in career, but no such luck online.
Racing with three other friends this morning, and the drivertards ran us over every chance they got. Makes for some really crappy racing.
