Watkins Glen International GP
5 April, 2019
1900 start time (2x time progression)
Weather:
fog-fog-light cloud-clear
Not the best track for the 911 since the AI (90/70) Vettes, Ferraris and BMWs all pull on me on the fast parts, but it’s fun to drive. I was going to pick a track with heavy braking zones and slow corners since I think that would suit my driving better, but this is my pick.
FYI, I’ll miss next week, May 15th, and probably week of June 12th due to work travel.
No, I am still considering Nurburg GT or that Italian track. I need to look at the weather/time options and see if I can come up with something a bit “interesting”

Yeah, I was thinking about doing something more exciting but figured it would end up just being painful. I did think fog might be an option, but since TJ was already doing that I decided temps/shadows were the way to mix things up a bit.
The fog doesn't seem to be too much of a factor for the date/time I chose. I just chose it for something different. I didn't do any rain testing based on previous experiences of it not being very fun.
Should we make one of the races (Spa) a 1 hour race? These cars are endurance racers IRL.
I would support a longer race on one of the bigger tracks that would involve a pit stop. Double points?

You could use my track selection for this.

Hell no. I'm not running 1 extra minute at Bathurst. I'll have knots in my shoulders from the 30 minutes.
You'll need to log in to post.
