Havent been able to make the GT6 wheel to wheel league mostly due to general fatigue and I have been playing with this one as something that we can do on an ongoing basis.
Course is GT Arena (layout A / Forwards)
We are going to follow SCCA SoloII classing and rules as closely as possible. Cars MUST be as classified by SCCA.
Street (used to be Stock), only mod allowed is racing exhaust. Tires limited to SS. (we will have street - R as detailed in scca rulebook, they get RS tires)
ST, ONLY MODS - Suspension(Full), Racing Brakes, Computer, Exhaust, Exhaust Manifold, Cat.
SP, ONLY MODS - (all ST Allowances), RS tires, Intake, Diff, Clutch/flywheel, Driveshaft, Torque sense diff for AWD.
Prepared - All mods excepting forced induction. MUST MAKE WEIGHT AS PER SCCA RULEBOOK.
MOD - Anything goes except N2O. Must make weight. Bike motor cars BM eligible. Consider the RedBull JR for AM. No Boost in DM (unless meets displacement) or in BM. (Boosted DM -> EM, Boosted BM -> AM)
We can break down by class if we get enough times, otherwise results by PAX.
Put your times in in single player time trial mode.
Classing debates settled by votes. For instance, what to do for SM?
List the car, the class, the power, the weight, and the time.

CURRENT RESULTS
AM Redbull JR, 246hp 550kg 24.161
KM 125cc shifter 26.850 - PAX 24.738
Havent really full tilted any other cars yet. Times subject to drop.
I LOVE this! It'll be a bit before I can post some times, but I really like the sound of this.
EDIT: I will own STR
SSR 2006 Corvette Zo6 26.537- PAX 22.822
SSR 2004 Zo6 27.196 - PAX 23.389
I was hoping it would catch on some because its easy to do as a casual player. Especially stock/street cars you can just hop in and play.
Made a spreadsheet to handle stuff, will go back and fill in the data on some of mine when I am near the PS3.
Once we have enough times, we will split by class as well as by PAX.
Did a little ES tonight. Fastest time was an MR2 Spyder at 30.363 raw, 24.71548 Pax.
Unfortunately for my actual autocross season, the NA Miata in ES trim was a full second slower.
Hopefully I'll get to try some more cars this weekend. I was thinking of an ES mr2 as well lol. That's pax car in real life. Also gonna do an STR s2000, you know, because it's the E36 M3
lol... make the MR2 yellow with black wheels!
Ill probably do an SMF car, because my racecar. As well as an STX or DSP car.
Havent really figured out how to address SM classes within the framework of GT6, any ideas?
I need to go spend some more time with my C6 Zo6, I didnt put the exhaust on it.
I intend to do some STS Miata action, some ESP action, and perhaps try out some CP cars.
Im simply re-creating my car, and because I turbo'ed mine, I had no where to go but to SMF lol.
Its hard to address the SM class or even the XP class because of all the massive aero that they throw on their cars.

I was a little underwhelmed by both ES cars I tried, mainly a gearing issue. The MR2's 1st gear max'd out really quickly, but a shift into second always seemed to be below the power band. Complicating matters is that, without a clutch kit, the gear change is ridiculously slow. I think there's a version with a 6 speed which, stuck in second and left there, might be the ticket. I ran out of time and game cash to try it last night.
EDIT: BTW - not trying to rip anyone off, I'm assuming a fluid change is OK in the "stock/street" classes?

I really want to start running some bigger SCCA stuff. I know a good many people on those results lists from local DC stuff.

A-ok, we also allow exhaust change as per stock/street class rules. Unfortunately there isnt a "Swaybars only" option to tune the suspension, or a way to play with alignments.
In reply to Apexcarver:
You should really look into coming down to Wilmington in August. That place is awesome.
You'll need to log in to post.
