So, we sorta fractured all to hell when some upgraded to Xbox Ones and others clung to their Xbox 360s. My friend and I decided to start up a winter boredom series with our SCCA region (Northwest Ohio). We'll be starting this week (maybe tomorrow) with an MX-5 series. We'll be using a standardized build off of the regular NC MX-5 Miata (not the MX-5 Cup) so people won't have to own the DLC version. Tentatively, the schedule plan is as follows:
12/16: Indianapolis Grand Prix
12/23: Road Atlanta
1/6: Road America
1/13: Sebring
1/20: Laguna Seca
All race lobbies will open around 8:00PM, with an "official" 10 minute practice at 8:30PM. Qualifying will start at 9:00PM sharpish, and will be 10 minutes or 8 laps, whatever is longer. Clean laps will be counted ahead of dirty laps (so have a clean lap). Race will start around 9:20PM and be 30-40 minutes long.
I'll post more as more details are ready.

Nice, post your Xbox Live name. I'm pretty sure you'll have to be friended by somebody to get an invite. It appears they really mucked up the custom lobbies for some reason. I'm especially bummed that they got rid of the ability to save the lobby settings (car, rules, track, laps, etc.). That makes running these things slightly more difficult, but not unpossible.
First event was moderately successful; if we could get back to the FM4 ~12-16 race group sizes, it'd be great.
You'll need to log in to post.
