Apparently it got off to a great start, then had some major issues, then they released patch 1.4 and fixed a bunch of complaints and now it's better again. Finally they released the Survival DLC and had me interested.
I picked it up for $20 on the PSN Store sale. I suck at it significantly, but only have played for about 90 minutes.
It's said to be a game best enjoyed with friends. Any one else play?
