So my friend has two kids and one of them had to be hospitalized for unfortunate circumstances. The other kid comes over all the time with the parents and I've let him play the Xbox, but he wants to play with someone. Most of these games anymore seem to only be made for one person. I imagine there are Xbox arcade games, but I am out of touch.
What are some two-player games out there?

Overcooked - this might be the best. Coop cooking simulator. Its cartoony, so lots of fun with kids. Up to 4 players locally, at least on ps4.

Plants vs zombies garden warfare.
I got Tumblestone as a free with gold game a while back and have had a ton of fun with it. It's up to four players locally and is a fast paced kind of inverse Tetris like variant.
