Since I had the Bobber and the Seca in one thread I decided to split them off into their own ones.
I FINALLY got the registration and plates for my Honda Shadow bobber so I could ride it. It took right around 15 weeks to get them through International Title Service. Slow, but good people! Now I can take the Vermont registration and use it to get my PA title.
Since getting the bike I have spent a my time cleaning it up, mounting new tires (with Dynabeads) fresh fluids, added turns signals, new battery, replaced the mirror with a pair of them (plastic iron cross mirror... Stupid P.O's....lol) and today I straightened and wrapped the exhaust. I didnt really want to use header wrap on the bike, but it does hide the hacked exhaust very nicely. Oh... My Girlfriend added the garter for luck.
All of my friends who ride told me I would hate the bike because it is a hard tail, or at least not want to ride any distance on it. After my first ride, and the ear to ear grin it gave me this has become my daily commuter bike. I ride it 50 miles round trip everyday, as long as its not raining. I still have a few project to do on it and hope that this winter I have a garage and can strip it to the frame, give it a good cleaning and paint.
And now Pictures!

That looks like it will tickle your ears when you crank it up! You better hope that the girlfriend doesn't want you to add a pad and small backrest for her, although if that's her garter, you might want to consider it.
Yep, Its her garter. Wont need the pad or back rest though, she rides her own bike and refuses to ride b*&$h. ( Gotta admire that! )
amazing how well old Jap bikes make sports-choppers. an unfortunately deceased buddy of mine from another forum took an old Kawasaki KZ-650, cut off everything but the headtube and the front half of the frame and custom did the rest of it to make a VERY nice looking low-buck chopper. not to threadjack, but here's a pic of it:
If you ever feel like bringing that for a ride out to NJ I'ld love to add some pinstriping to it for ya ;)
