I am of the opinion "it doesn't matter *what* you ride, just that you *do* ride," but the majority of Harley riders are not known for riding in the snow. Good on you for doing so!!
Meanwhile I have been a total puss and rode my bike twice this entire winter.
I worked at a tire store just out of high school. They hired a mechanic whom I called Biker Ray. Biker Ray had a softail that he completely tore down and rebuilt. Custom everything, engraved case, complete show bike. He rode that mother berkeleyer all winter in Ohio. I was in awe, standing with my mouth wide open when he came rolling in one morning with three inches of fresh snow on the ground and about six inch ice cycles hanging off of his mustache. His tears were froze solid on the side of his face. Amazing guy and an amazing bike. Last I heard of him he traded the bike for two four wheelers and two Buells.
