Totally mine, completely affiliated...$4900.
It's a 2007 883 Harley Davidson Sportster with factory fuel injection. I bought this bike last year, sight unseen, with the intention of turning it into a Scrambler, Dirtster or an Adventure Touring bike. Something like this:
or this:
But after I picked it up, I decided that this bike was way to nice for the dirt. I replaced the original tires with a set of Metzlers, at the suggestion of a doctor named Hess, and rode it for a couple of hundred miles.
The problem is that I'm a dirt guy, not a street guy...
This bike needs to find a new home. As it currently sits, it has a little less than 4,500 miles on it. The tires have maybe 300 on them. The bike is completely stock. It has the factory alarm system, a genuine HD Sidekick seat with passenger pegs, and, of course, factory fuel injection. Currently registered, never wrecked. Clean Connecticut title in my name.
I have listed it elsewhere for $5900, but if a GRM'er is interested, I will get all GRM friendly on the price, as I know that I don't have to deal with any Craigslist BS with you guys, for you are My People.
You guys should know by now that my stuff is done right, well cared for and represented accurately. The bike is in Connecticut and I'm willing to work with a shipper if the buyer is not from around here.
Ride safely.
Also, I should have pointed out that this is not a "Hugger" or a "Low". It has the full travel suspension, mid controls, and original Lo-rise handlebars (not Buckhorns). I'm 6'1" and fit comfortably on it.
I love the scrambler / tracker look. But why buy a project when this sweet ride is for sale?

Right click, save as....that is sharp looking!
Not that I need a 6th motorcycle, but....1200 or 883? Stock exhaust? (Which would be awesome!)

It's a fuel injected 883 with stock exhaust.
Very sharp looking bike, but I thought about it for a couple days...not the right time. Good luck with the sale, should go quick!

I wrote: Dude... I'm not much of a two wheels type of guy and I'm 100% not a Harley guy but that is berkeleying awesome!!! If it had a bigger tank, single exhaust and a kick starter (just in case) it would be perfect.

My family suggests that we follow thru on the swimming pool thing.
I sold that exact bike, but a 2004 with a tach, a few years back. I miss it. So rare to find a stock black 883.
Bump for price adjustment. This bike has just been sitting under a cover in my garage, I haven't had time to ride it.
$4900 to a GRM'er.
