I haven't ridden since the late 70's when I walked away from a crash that should've crippled or killed me.

I've been content with four wheel jocularities since then, but recently find myself want to find an old BMW to restore and ride.

I know zip about BMW bikes except that I like the old ones. Do I have a problem? Should I be talked out of this?

No. You will never be talked out of anything but going to Disney and borrowing money to purchase a car on this forum.

Buy an airhead. They are pricey. Everyone loves them.

Your only problem is you stopped riding 30 years ago.

Buy a good helmet, jacket, gloves, pants, and boots. Take the MSF course as a refresher. Then find a bike already or close to finished and ride.

You'll need to log in to post.
