Seems like there are going to be a lot of all new bikes dropping in 15'. There are all new products in almost every category.
What new bike has your attention?
The one that caught my eye the most is the Yamaha FJ-09 based off the FZ-09
Yep that hits all the buttons.

I heard or read something about them using it as a base for an entry level racing series. Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near any good twisty roads so it doesn't really fit my environment at the moment. If I was still in east TN I would be very excited about it.

I've also been waiting for KTM to actually make the RC390 and or the Duke 390 available in the USA.
KTM has formally announced it would be here soon for several years.

I like that. I like that a lot. Someone hurry up and buy it and then get tired of it and trade it in nearby so I can get it for half price.
The new but not really new at all 2015 Yamaha SR400 has been brapping around my head for a few months as a fun fun fun bike.

I have to wonder why they decided kick start only was a good idea in this day and age. But I like the idea of a brand new kick start only bike being sold. I'm sure they will miss out on some sales because of it though.
I'm not the typical biker. I like comfort, frugality, and don't care a whit for image. My favorite bike was my Honda Pacific Coast.
But that Indian just punches all the right emotional buttons for me. I would love that for my commute.

I'll have mine like this, please.
Probably because it's the same bike they've been making since 1978, just with fuel injection and a catalyst exhaust Yamaha added in 2007 to meet emissions where it was still being sold. It's not really new, they just decided import it again.

There's a pretty long article in CW on new bikes for '15. The only one that piqued my interest was the GSX-S750. They finally took off all the damn fairings and made it a "naked" bike but it still looks way too much like a Transformer.
RC390.
Got to sit on the scout and its a darn nice place to be and $4$ I would take it over the sportster any day of the week.

I want one, but not at the price they're wanting for them.
In reply to Appleseed:
That's what I've heard as well.
Reasonable for sure, on my short list if I decide that I need another entirely impractical vehicle in my collection.
I'll throw a hat in the ring for this guy, too... hamina.
I'll be bike shopping in the spring, but sadly at about 1/3rd the price point of the Scrambler.
Nice to see the japanese manufacturers stepping up their game, The next couple years will be interesting.
Appleseed wrote: I've heard $5300. When you compare that to an ABS Ninja 300 it's not unreasonable?
Last I saw was 6000 euros($7200), which would put it squarely in FZ territory.
Pictures are great, names are great, but both is greater. Also I thought "RC390" was some kind of super Honda at first and not a KTM...
That green Ducati Urban Scrambler above looks pretty cool! With some tweaks it could be really nice looking...
In reply to Appleseed:
I hope the gave a "trim" fender option after a while. The rear fender is too thick and the I don't like the "tail" on the front fender. Other than those two "criticisms, it is a great bike.

My friend wants one, but for the princely sum they're wanting for the r1m, he said he might as well buy a 1299 S for the same money.
That price range would be an instant MV F4RR for me. I think I have elitist tastes.
