I found a new dirt toy after a month or so of looking. I had to drive about three hours from here to find it but here is the CL ad:

It was in the middle of no where, but is titled and in great shape. This is by far the fastest thing I've ever ridden. It may only go 60 or 70, but it's very fast getting there! Puts a sport bike to shame! The only bad part is it's hard to keep the front end on the ground, and I'm kinda worried I'm gonna hurt myself on this thing. It's way different than the 250 2 strokes I'm used to.
that is a lot of bike for $1500.

Thanks, I kept a close eye on craigslist for about a month, and was willing to jump up and drive a few hours on a moments notice (well, after work anyway). That's the key. Most people weren't willing to drive to the middle of no where for a deal. I was.
It says Portales on the add, but it was actually about 20 minutes outside Portales in the boonies. The kid who owned it was a college kid who decided snow boarding was more fun and wanted cash fast to move to a ski area for the winter. I actually ended up buying it from his parents when he was out of town. I asked them if they would split the cost of gas with me because it was so far out there and they agreed. So, I actually paid $1450.
