Bikes like the Triumph Scrambler:

And the TS250:

My father always referred to them as "High Pipes".

Burns-in-waiting, at least on the older bikes.

Thanks!

I'm considering trying to tweak my little Twin Star into more of a Scrambler kind of bike, like a tiny version of a CL350. I already put the unused handlebars from my derelict XL600R on it, and that was made it feel SOOOOOOO much better. :)

Those buck horns are the worst, aren't they?

Yeah. Removing the stupid handlebars turned it from a bike I couldn't comfortably fit on to a bike I have plenty of room on. And it looks way cooler. I will provide a picture when I get home. :)

I see them refered as scrambler pipes. Highmount exhaust is sometimes uses but more related to sportbikes with muffler near rear subframe with the mid pipe going down to the original header location
