So I just picked up a roof rack system with the hopes to use it to haul my autox rubber to and from events. I'm currently entertaining some ideas on how to fix everything to to the top. I've seen some DIY carriers that the 911 guys seem to make, as well as the standard cargo rack and stack routine. I'm curious if any one here has any other solutions or can just share some pictures of whatever they have devised.

Could you add a winch with a kite? That'd be cool.
I'd imagine you want the four tires to be as flat as possible and spread over the roof.
Tires on the roof are a bad idea.
