My wife decided that she would be OK with a project for the two of us to do together and while I was hoping for a little Miata autocrosser she has her eyes set on an early bronco.
After looking at a rusted out hunk of junk local to me I found what seems to be a pretty good deal in Northern California. So I just hit the road and hope to make riding around midnight. Anyone up that way??
Nice. I built one a few years ago. Parts supply is great for these. It's possible to build one from scratch. There's a good eb community at classicbroncos.com

I saw a ton of these in Malibu and the Hollywood hills. They fit right in with the Defenders and odd 2-door M-B Gwagens.
Well I got it. Not much rust, and a lot of good parts. The xfer case was messed up so I bought a replacement and have it all apart, including the trans as I'm gonna try and fix an apparent rear main seal leak at the same time.
