$2000 Challenge: A force-fed, BRE-liveried Sentra SE-R

We’ve seen BRE’s iconic red, white and blue graphics applied to all sorts of Datsuns and Nissans–and, at our $2000 Challenge back in 2014, on a Sentra SE-R.

This very car ran with us in 2011, too, although it left the event with a rod poking out of the engine block. For its 2014 appearance, a new (well, junkyard) replacement SR20DE was paired with a “JDM Turbo Kit” purchased online. The force-fed Sentra ran a 15.2 down the drag strip.
