Yesterday, Lionsgate dropped a trailer for its upcoming biopic on Ferruccio Lamborghini titled “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend.” Staring Frank Grillo as Mr. Lamborghini, the upcoming film will be available in theaters and digitally on demand starting November 18.
But this isn’t the only biopic about an Italian carmaker coming soon. “Ferrari” is slated for release sometime next year and stars Adam Driver as Enzo. While we don’t have a trailer at time of writing, we do have a few teaser photos:

So which flick are you looking forward to more–and, perhaps more importantly, who do you think would win in an arm-wrestling match, Enzo or Ferruccio?
Some important aspects of the upcoming Ferrari movie:
Enzo Ferrari: Adam Driver (!)
Piero Taruffi: Patrick Dempsey (may he will be able to provide some practical car / racing knowledge)
Based on a book by: Brock Yates (seems appropriate)
Director: Michael Mann (uh oh..... get that slow mo effect ready....)
That "drag race" between a Countach and a Mondial was really hard to watch. Like, they couldn't afford a Testarossa?!
I took a quick look to see if the Lamborghini movie is showing near me, and I can't find it. I don't think it's getting a wide release.

Could be before the TR came out?

Well then the boxer would have been in production

True enough.
In any case, I'm not sure how much of a "battle" this is going to be. The Ferarri movie has one of the biggest movie stars in the world and Micheal Freaking Mann directing it. The Lambo movie has Frank Grillo, who's a pretty good actor but not exactly a household name. I suspect the differences in budget are quite substantial. And again, I can't find the Lambo movie playing anywhere near me. Frankly, it feels like a straight-to-video kind of thing. I still want to see it, though.

Also you know there's going to be, or at least should be, plenty of racing action with Ferrari.
Other than his beef with Enzo, I don't see Feruccio's story all that cinematic.
