Some people learn best by picking up a book or watching a video before diving into a project. Forum user BlueInGreen - Jon isn’t one of those people, instead deciding to buy the project first and then use the car as the learning tool.
The project in question? A 1969 Toyota Corona, something that can teach BlueInGreen - Jon more about rust repair, carburetors and cars built before the ’80s.
The general plan is to just have a long-term project that can slowly be enjoyed and tinkered on: “No specific timelines, no rushing to get it back together for an upcoming track day, no deferring maintenance because I have to drive it to work on Monday.”

Smart, B-I-G Jon. I passed on a low mileage car just two days ago as it had more rust than I cared to deal with. I've been doing that for over 30 years and if I had just started learning how to deal with it 30 years ago I would have a lot more options when looking at cars...
