So happy to see this one done and together. Looks bitching. :)

Treasure is not always found by an X on a map; sometimes it’s discovered in an untouched, dust-covered shipping container cast away in the back of a media blasting house for 21 years. Or at least that was the case for our user loosecannon.
Found in disassembled Lego-style pieces, this 1967 Camaro Rally Sport was just what loosecannon and his wife were looking for. But not because of its black bucket seats, 327 V8 engine, or four-speed Muncie transmission. loosecannon couldn’t care less about those things. Why? Because they were changing all of it.
“The plan is to go restomod in the Pro-Touring style,” loosecannon said early in the build, “with a complete suspension swap, upgraded interior with an integrated 6-point cage, LSA supercharged V8 with Tremec TR6060 6-speed transmission, 315/30-18 tires all the way around and yes, air conditioning.”
Over the next three years, this Camaro underwent significant modifications to make these plans a reality.
And like any ground-up project, loosecannon encountered challenges. New parts arrived damaged and almost complete parts had clearance issues. And the largest one, a hiccup at the Canadian border, almost delayed the Camaros debut to 2025.
Despite these setbacks, the Camaro made its first public appearance at a local car show this past May. loosecannon transformed this once-forgotten Camaro into a sleek, show-stopping piece.
Just two months later, loosecannon and the Camaro were invited by The Winnipeg Sports Car Club to represent them at the Driven Aftermarket Car Show: “There was a continuous stream of people coming by to take pictures and ask questions; I was very flattered by it all. In the end, I won Best Chevrolet and in case you ask, there were a bunch of other very nice Camaros, Vettes, Chevelles, and Chevy trucks that I beat out.”
