What we have here is a 1985 Volkswagen Jetta coupe prepared for SCCA GT3 competition. While SCCA GT regs allow a full tube chassis, this one looks to be tub-based–also allowed under the rules.
But wait, there’s more: According to the ad, this one has been made street-legal and carries a Florida title.
What do you do with this? Whatever you want. Commute to work, run some track events, put it back into competition. Autocross, maybe, or even some historic racing?
Back in the day, the A2-chassis VW Jetta coupe carried some serious street cred. Here’s a period-correct example prepared for competition–not something you see every day.
The price for all this radness? Looks like $14,000 can put this in Jetta your garage. It’s located in Cape Coral, Florida.

Just looked at the GT3 results from last year’s SCCA Runoffs since I was curious. I think the Jetta could have easily scored a top-10 finish.
