Hey I know that guy! He's so berkeleying cool.
Forum user corsepervita is taking things to a whole new level by attempting to not only restore a 1987 Lamborghini Jalpa, but also modernize it in the process.
You might be wondering why someone would be modifying a classic Lamborghini instead of restoring it, but the Jalpa was "already not stock" when corsepervita got it, so being "concerned with keeping too much 'originality' in terms of the mechanical stuff" isn't really a priority.
The build thread, which started back in June of 2015, now has more than 66 pages of fabrication, computer programming and plenty of 3D printing.
Most recently, corsepervita has been working on digitizing the gauges for a cool-looking touch of modernity that also increases functionality.
