...and we have a fascia with far more support than it realistically needs.

A Mustang's hood is shorter than a Lincoln's, however, so we had to adapt the rear hood pins, too. That also got a scrap metal solution.

Not long ago we decided to replace our banged-up Lincoln nose with one we could easily find in a junkyard. In our heads, it was a simple swap. It turned out not so bad in the end, but it took more work than we expected.

The upper fascia needed some bracketry to hold it in place. The OEM stuff was long gone thanks to an on-track incident a few races ago. And, since the Mustang hood is significantly shorter than its luxurious cousin, we needed to adapt the hood pins, too.
