My folks had a '56 Plymouth wagon when I was a kid. 273 and a Powerflite transmission. Pretty reliable old car. No corrosion protection at all though.
3-speed manual 225 cu in (3.7 L) I6 sat for about 25 years and i started it and drove it home.. shes a keeper
