Well, it's time to let go of my project.
1.8L 5-speed 3.91 open diff.
I bought the car with 82,221 it had been sitting in a field for six years. Got it running and driving and used it as a daily driver for 20,000 miles. Currently runs and drives very well. Still has a few issues that need addressed.
I have replaced the following,
Pads & rotors and bled brakes @ 82,221
Thermostat, water pump and radiator cap @ 88,000
High pressure fuel hose @ 88,000
Transmission gear oil @ 88,000
Alternator @ 93,000
High energy ignition @ 97,900 consisting of an early cap and rotor, MSD blaster 2 coil, MSD 8.5mm wires and new plugs.
New in tank fuel pump, fuel accumulator, fuel filter and new tires @ 100,032 miles.
I have also replaced all the vacuum hoses/lines, intake boots, new urethane steering rack mounts, front strut mount bearings, adjusted the valve lash, installed a rear swaybar from an "is" model and it has a super turbo muffler. The WUR has been cleaned and adjusted. Probably more that I've forgotten.
Issues
Fuel tanks are still rusty.
Found a tear in one of the cv boots.
Still has some rust in both front and rear window channels and the trunk flange causing water intrusion. Because of the leaks I have the carpets out. The crappy stock front seats are completely shot. I pulled all of the A/C components to save weight. The Plastidip I sprayed on over a year ago is starting to show it's age.
I have all the parts not on the car except the A/C stuff.
Also have another set of the Turbine wheels that go with it
Currently has 102,100 miles on it.
Price is not firm. If I'm way out of line please let me know, I bought it not running for $1,300.
